The Secret Psychiatrist, is a playwright, screen writer, actress, and filmmaker.
Her acclaimed first play HER, was produced, directed, and performed by Dr Shergill herself in London 2019, that was about a dark LGBT comedy with BAME women. She produced, wrote, and starred in the hilarious romcom LOVEBUG, a short film about finding love whilst self isolating during the coronavirus pandemic that was aired with BBC Upload.
She was cast in the Channel 4 film NHS HEROES, Holland& Barrett, TESCO and M&S commercial. She has also wrote- directed-produced-starred in her feature films THE LINK and Daddy Blues., alongside co writing-producing- starring in her second short film Phantoms (a psychological horror concerning perinatal mental health, LGBT, and abuse themes) with the celebrity comedian Shazia Mirza cast.
