
The lights brighten my eyes
The clatter of balls hitting the bowls
To get a fish
To be named
And taken in as family
Racing for ice cream
Bustling through the children
Despite feeling like a child myself
Unable to help my creeping smile
Etch onto my face
As I feel tickled with the floss
Currently pink all over my lips
The butterflies
Spilling out of my stomach
As I stare into his eyes
As he watches me
